How to Enable Improved Queueing

We’ve rebuilt the entire upload queue system from the ground up. The upload queue is where your photos go before they’re uploaded, and the new version is designed to make your inspections faster and more reliable.

Why Use Improved Queueing?

The new queueing system offers major improvements:

  • Faster uploads – multiple photos can upload at once.

  • Greater reliability – fewer stuck uploads or delays.

  • Optimised photos – smaller file sizes with no loss of quality.

  • Better battery life – more efficient processing on your device.

Before beginning...

Ensure you have downloaded the latest version of the Keyhook Inspections app from the Google Play or Apple App store.

1. Open the Menu

  • Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.

2. Open Your Settings

  • Tap your name at the bottom of the menu to open the settings page.

3. Toggle On “Use Improved Queueing”

  • Find “Use improved queueing” and switch it on.

IMPORTANT – Before You Turn It On

If you have no photos in your Pending Media Uploads (visible in the same settings menu)

You’re good to go — simply turn on Improved Queueing and carry on with your inspections.

If you do have photos in your Pending Media Uploads

You must clear these out first before enabling the new queue.

Follow this process:

  1. Back up your pending photos

    • Make sure all pending photos are saved in your device's backup folder found in the same settings menu.

  2. Log out of the app

  3. Log back in

    • Once you’re back in, your queue will be empty and ready.

  4. You can now toggle on “Use improved queueing.”
