The Keyhook Dashboard

Overview

The dashboard is what you land on when you log in. Work the action list down the left — switch between Current, Upcoming and Archived, group and filter it, then snooze or archive each card. On a wide screen the Overview panel on the right gives live portfolio figures you can click straight through to.

Read your action list
1
Open the dashboard
Keyhook opens on the dashboard when you log in. To come back to it any time, click Dashboard in the left sidebar.
2
See what needs attention
The action list down the left is a live feed of items across your whole portfolio. Each card shows the item, its property address and when it appeared. Click a card to jump straight to that item.
3
Switch between Current, Upcoming and Archived
Use the tabs at the top of the list: Current shows live items that need attention (with a count), Upcoming holds items you've snoozed to a future date, and Archived holds ones you've already cleared.
Focus the list
1
Group by category or property
On the Current tab, use the Category / Property toggle. Category groups items by activity type; Property groups every item under its address.
2
Filter to one activity type
In Category view, the pills below the tabs — All, Inspections, Maintenance, Payments, Tenancies and the rest — each carry a count. Click one to show only that type, and click it again (or All) to clear the filter.
Snooze, archive or restore an item
1
Archive something you've handled
On a desktop, hover the card and click the Archive icon on the right. On a phone, swipe the card right. It moves to the Archived tab.
2
Snooze something for later
On the Current tab, click the Snooze icon (or swipe the card left on a phone) and pick One hour, Today, Two days, One week or a custom date. The card leaves Current and reappears on the Upcoming tab until then.
3
Bring a snoozed item back
On the Upcoming tab, click Un-snooze on a card to return it to Current straight away.
4
Restore an archived item
On the Archived tab, click Restore to send a card back to Current.
5
Clear several at once
Tick the checkbox on each card you want (or use Select all), then click the Archive button that appears — on the Archived tab it reads Restore instead.

Note: Snoozing or archiving only affects the reminder card — it doesn't complete the underlying task or change anything on the property. Handle the actual job (send the notice, book the inspection) from the item itself.

Check your portfolio at a glance
1
Read the Overview panel
On a wide screen the Overview panel down the right shows live figures across your portfolio — Vacant Properties, In Arrears, Total Arrears, Rent Reviews Due, Overdue Inspections, Unsigned Agreements and more.
2
Jump straight to the detail
Each stat is clickable and opens the matching list or report — In Arrears and Total Arrears open the arrears report, Vacant Properties opens the properties list filtered to vacant, and Overdue Inspections opens the inspections list.
Customise the Overview panel
1
Open Customize Stats
Click the gear icon at the top-right of the Overview panel to open the Customize Stats window.
2
Choose which stats show
Tick a stat to show it or untick it to hide it — hidden stats drop to an Available list you can re-add later.
3
Reorder them
Drag the handle on any shown stat to change the order the tiles appear in.
4
Save
Click Save. Use Reset to return to the default set, or Cancel to discard your changes.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between snoozing and archiving?

Snoozing hides a card until a date you pick, then returns it to Current (it sits on the Upcoming tab in the meantime). Archiving clears a card you've dealt with to the Archived tab. Neither one completes the underlying task.

Where do snoozed items go?

To the Upcoming tab, until the snooze date passes. Click Un-snooze on a card there to bring it back to Current early.

Why can't I see the Overview panel?

The Overview stats panel only shows on wider screens (roughly 920px and up) — a desktop or a tablet in landscape. On a phone or a narrow/portrait tablet the dashboard shows just the action list.

Can I change which stats appear, and their order?

Yes — click the gear icon on the Overview panel to open Customize Stats, tick or untick each stat, drag the handles to reorder, then click Save. Reset restores the default set.

What do the category pills with numbers mean?

In Category view each pill is an activity type — Inspections, Maintenance, Payments, Tenancies and so on — and the number is how many current items it holds. Click a pill to filter to that type, or All to see everything.
