Keyhook handles your maintenance for you. This feature helps you get maintenance completed in one click of a button.

This is how it works:

  1. Your tenant submits a maintenance request.

  2. A Keyhook maintenance manager reaches out to your tenant to gather more information, diagnose the issue and see if it can be resolved without calling a tradesperson.

  3. If a tradie is required, Keyhook retrieves quotes from suitable tradespeople in your area. 

  4. You are sent the diagnosis along with three quotes to choose from.

  5. Once you accept a quote, Keyhook will then co-ordinate with the tradesperson and your tenant to arrange a time to have the request completed.

  6. The tradesperson completes the job on the appropriate date.

  7. The tenant will then mark the job as complete and you'll be notified.

Using Keyhook's smart rent collection means Keyhook will cover the cost of the maintenance for you, deducting it from subsequent weeks' rent. This means you never have to pay out of pocket for maintenance.

Alternatively, if you've chosen to receive rent directly to your account, you can pay maintenance invoices via credit card.

Each maintenance request incurs a $25+gst flat service fee, paid to Keyhook. This is to ensure we can find you the best tradies at the best prices.
