Bulk Reconcile Transactions by Date

Overview

To bulk reconcile, open the sidebar FinancialsBank Feeds → the To Review tab, click the green Reconcile button, choose a To date range and click Confirm. Keyhook reconciles every confidently matched transaction dated before that date in one go.

Bulk reconcile matched transactions up to a date

1
Open the bank feed
From the left sidebar, open Financials and click Bank Feeds. The screen opens on the To Review tab, which lists every transaction still waiting to be reconciled.
2
Spot the confident matches
Each row carries a coloured bar down its left edge. A green bar (its tooltip reads Confident match) means Keyhook has found a reconciliation suggestion it's confident about. A grey bar means the transaction is still Awaiting manual reconciliation and won't be swept up by this action.
3
Click Reconcile
In the Reconciliation to review panel beside the table, click the green Reconcile button. A small Reconcile transactions popover opens.
4
Choose the To date range
Open the To date dropdown and pick a range — All transactions, Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days or Custom date. The panel confirms the cut-off it will use before you commit.
5
Set a custom date if you need one
If you chose Custom date, pick the day in the Select date picker (future dates are blocked). Everything confidently matched and dated before that day is included.
6
Confirm
The button now reads Confirm — click it to run the reconciliation. Keyhook works through the confident matches and the matched rows drop out of To Review into the Reconciled tab.

Note: Only confidently matched transactions dated before the date you pick are reconciled. Anything still Awaiting manual reconciliation stays in To Review for you to reconcile by hand — the bulk action never guesses at a transaction it isn't sure about.

Exclude a suggested match you don't trust
1
Open the row's actions
Before you bulk reconcile, scan the confident matches. If a suggested match looks wrong, open that transaction's actions menu on the right of its row.
2
Flag the suggestion
Choose Flag suggestions as non-confident. The row loses its green Confident match status, so the next bulk Reconcile skips it and you can reconcile it manually instead.

Note: The bulk action can't be undone in one click. If a wrong match slips through, reverse each transaction individually from the Reconciled tab (see Reverse a Reconciled Transaction).

Check the results
1
Review the To Review tab
When the run finishes, the count on the To Review tab drops. Whatever remains had no confident match, so reconcile those transactions one at a time (see Reconcile Bank Transactions).
2
Confirm on the Reconciled tab
Open the Reconciled tab to see the transactions that were matched and cleared, and to check nothing landed there that shouldn't have.

Frequently asked questions

Which transactions does the bulk reconcile actually touch?

Only the ones with a green Confident match that are dated before the To date you choose. Transactions marked Awaiting manual reconciliation (grey) or still being analysed are left alone.

Does the date include the day I pick, or stop before it?

It stops before it. Only matches dated before the To date shown in the panel are reconciled, and the panel confirms that exact cut-off before you commit — anything on or after it stays in To Review. Pick All transactions if you want everything, including today's, cleared.

The Reconcile button is greyed out — why?

The button is disabled when there are no transactions in To Review. It's also only available to finance persons and principals; other property managers can only work the Held tab.

Can I undo a bulk reconcile?

Not as a single action. Open the Reconciled tab and reverse each transaction you didn't mean to reconcile individually (see Reverse a Reconciled Transaction). To avoid this, flag any doubtful match as non-confident before you run the bulk reconcile.

Does this cover all my properties at once?

Yes — it reconciles every confident match across your connected bank feeds before the chosen date, not just one property, so it's the quick way to clear a backlog after importing transactions.
